An outreach program of the Youth Ministry Program at Lancaster Moravian, Boy Scout Troop 7 was chartered in 4Q 2005. Though there are three other troops charted by churches in the vicinity (see map below), the Harvest District of the Pennsylvania Dutch Council has strongly supported the chartering of this new organization.

Troop 7 will focus particular attention on service and support to the immediate neighborhood. There is a logical boundary created by Rt. 222, Rt. 30, Rt. 23, and Butter Road (see Map below) at approximately a .6 mile radius from the church facility.

Troop 7 provides a means for outreach, missions, and community involvement in the immediate neighborhood as well as the county at large; and, this youth program provides opportunities for service to young men and their families.
